Pet Loss Support Groups

If you’re on this page, it’s likely that you or someone close to you is experiencing the deep pain of losing a beloved pet. This sense of loss is a normal and natural reaction.

Grief is emotional, not logical

Grief from the loss of a pet can be overwhelming and isolating. Friends and family may struggle to provide meaningful support, often offering well-meaning but ineffective advice. While no one would suggest replacing a child or parent after a loss, pet owners frequently hear such comments, which can make their grief feel invalidated.

The emotional pain you’re feeling is genuine, and seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it’s a courageous step toward healing.

Grief Recovery Method Groups for Pet Loss

Our 6-meeting grief recovery method support groups for pet loss are designed to address the unique emotional experiences tied to your grief. You can participate in person or online, led by chris, a grief recovery method specialist who has personally navigated similar losses.

Throughout the program, you’ll work through steps to uncover and resolve feelings related to your relationship with your pet, allowing you to say “goodbye” and make space for new memories. If in-person options are not available in your area, we encourage you to consider the online format.

The heartbreak of losing a pet is profound, and our program provides a supportive and effective way for pet owners to move through their grief.
